The Hewlett Packard / Agilent E1536A is a SCP Module. The E1536A 8-bit Isolated Digital I/O SCP provides eight bits with individually programmable threshold levels of 5V, 12V, 24V or 48V. The Agilent E1536A channels are clamped at about 60V by a crowbar protection circuit. Each channel of the E1536A can be configured as an input port or an output port. Both inputs/outputs have programmable polarity. The Agilent E1536A can only be used with the HP E1415A and E1419A. Some of the features of the Agilent E1536A are:
