The Hewlett Packard / Agilent E1497A is a V743/64 Embedded Controller with 32MB Ram. The E1497A is a single width, C-Sized VXI module. The Agilent E1497A is a high performance message based controller which uses HP's PA-RISC technology to deliver extraordinary performance and direct VXI access at a very competitive price. The E1497A was developed specifically as an embedded HP-UX (UNIX) controller fo VXI, the V743 controller provides the high I/O performance of direct VXI backplane support, the space savings of an embedded controller and the high power and speed of HP PA-RISC all in an HP-UX environent.
